Interoperability forms part of the
AssetWise core code regardless of whether it has
been enabled. The Interoperability service uses eventhandlers that when
enabled, are based on the configuration described in this document. When an
event is enabled or disabled, the eventhandler is automatically registered or
deregistered. The core functionality triggers the interoperability in some way.
Only objects that belong to a configured scope will be output by the
Interoperability services.
Interoperability objects include:
- Documents
- Tags
- Serial number
- Relationships
- Organizations.
Core functionality that triggers interoperability includes:
- Attribute value
added/changed on a document or tag
- Approval of a document or
tag
- Completion of a work order
task
- Creation or deletion of a
relationship on a document or tag
- Document added as an
effected document on a change request
- Fitting or removing a
serialized item on a tag
